Coping well is an essential survival skill that include self-care activities and practices we can engage in on a regular basis to reduce stress, maintain and improve both our physical and mental health and well-being.

Sharea and Lance in this discussion format webinar replay discussed Coping Strategies while briefly exploring BLM and COVID-19’s impact on our lives and discuss the dynamics of stress and compassion fatigue as a result of activism and living through a pandemic.  The webinar was completed with a discussion on the importance of routine and coping strategies.

Sharea is a licensed clinical social worker with years of success in helping clients recover from anxiety, depression and low self-esteem. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings where she received specialized training in the following therapeutic practices: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Theory, Motivational Interviewing and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

Rebecca Fornaro, LCSW

Rebecca is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with several years’ experience working with diverse populations.  She has worked in several treatment facilities and has conducted individual, group and family therapy.  She has experience working with people who struggle with substance use, anxiety, depression, grief, PTSD and trauma-related issues.   

Lance Wilson, MSS, LSW,C-SWHS 

Lance is currently a Licensed Social Worker in the State of Pennsylvania and also holds his specialty certification as a Social Worker in Health Care from the National Association of Social Workers. Professionally, Lance has worked in the mental health, medical, and public health field for over 8 years. Lance has been invited to speak/facilitate trainings on a variety of topics in academia and in the community surrounding mental health, social work education, long-term care planning, and working with LGBTQ+ identified clientele.

Sherry Wherry, Life Coach

Sherry has completed a certificate of training in Personal Development Coaching with RS Counseling & Wellness Center. I am the founder and Chief Executive Inspirator of Wherry Consultations. In 2005, I graduated from Kenyon College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and a Concentration in African and African American Studies. I possess over ten years of experience in Social Services and in empowering individuals to accomplish their educational, professional, personal, and spiritual goals.
